The Galyct Perso method
How Galyct Perso support works
The method follows six stages: assess the situation, limit the exposure, keep the useful records, secure access, document what has been done, then organise the remaining formal steps. You can follow these stages in the app or ask for an expert to step in.
We will never ask for your codes or your passwords.
Is an incident in progress?
Keep the evidence: don’t delete anything for now. Never hand over a code, a password or a full card number: genuine support never asks you to confirm a transaction in order to cancel it. Let us guide you: we call you back Monday to Friday from 8 am to 7 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 12 noon, with no commitment.
A 6-stage method, designed for victims
The process stays proportionate: a simple compromised email account doesn’t need the same depth as bank fraud with remote access. But the logic itself does not change.
We always separate what is observed from what is assumed.
Victims often experience an incident in a jumble: a stressful call, a code approved, an account blocked, a threat, a suspicious email, a bank asking for explanations. Our job is to put the facts back into a usable sequence, without confusing suspicion, evidence and assumption. The file must remain readable for someone who wasn’t there.
Stop the bleeding, stay calm
The first aim is not to repair: it is to stop whatever is making the situation worse right now. A few steps are enough to take back control.
Your first steps
Hang up or leave the chat, stop screen sharing, close the remote access app or disconnect from the internet if a remote session is still active. Stop approving anything new.
Depending on the channel
If a payment is involved, contact your bank without delay using its official contact details, never those given during the call. If remote access is suspected, isolate the device concerned.
Understand what really happened
Before acting, we map out what has been exposed and clearly separate what is confirmed from what remains uncertain.
What we map out
The accounts, devices, payment methods, platforms, apps and people that may have been exposed. We don’t presume the scale: we measure it.
Confirmed, or uncertain?
Each item goes on one side or the other. This separation avoids sending the bank an incomplete or contradictory account, and blaming someone without evidence.
Keep first, clean up afterwards
Deleting too quickly can lose decisive items: messages, logs, notifications, linked devices, payees added or traces of remote access. We save what may be useful before any remediation.
Why erase nothing
Resetting a computer without noting the tools installed, deleting texts or emails: these actions weaken the file. Panic pushes you to act too fast; note and keep things first.
Items that are usually useful
- Dates, times, amounts and accounts involved
- Screenshots and original messages kept
- Calling numbers, emails, links, app names
- Transactions, payees, IBANs or references
- Steps already taken: card block, police report, password, MFA
Regain access, from a trusted device
Securing happens in a precise order, and never from a device you have doubts about. Changing only the password without closing sessions often leaves the door open.
In the right order
Change passwords from a clean device, close unknown sessions, check the recovery methods, then turn on or restore two-factor authentication (MFA).
Our first rule
We will never ask for your codes, your passwords, a code received by text or your full card number. We check, secure and advise: you alone keep control of your secrets.
Track down persistent access
An account can look recovered while a discreet rule keeps sending everything to the attacker. We go through the places where access can hide.
Forwarding rules
Email redirects and filters that quietly copy your emails to another address.
Sessions & linked devices
Unknown active sessions, devices linked to the account and remote access tools still installed.
MFA & recovery
Two-factor authentication, recovery numbers and addresses, authorised apps and extensions.
Bank payees
Payees added, limits changed and sensitive settings that may have been touched.
A clear file for your formal steps
The last stage produces a usable timeline: facts reported, items observed, actions taken, limits and recommendations for the bank, the insurer, the platform or the police report. Four categories, never mixed.
The mistakes that complicate the file later
Panic often pushes people to act too fast. Some actions are useful, but only after noting and keeping what may be needed.
A serious method doesn’t promise the impossible
Galyct Perso promises no certain identification of the culprit, no bank refund and no complete elimination of the risk. The added value lies elsewhere: taking back control, securing what needs securing and producing a factual reading of the situation. Commitments, not promises: no result is guaranteed.
The method on your own, or with an expert
The six stages are the same for everyone. You only choose who carries them out: the app guides you step by step, and the expert takes over when you decide.
The app
The free pre-diagnosis assesses your situation, then the tool takes you through the method, with no prior expertise needed.
- Prioritised action plan: 0-2h / 24h / 7 days
- Grid of the evidence to keep
- Checklist by area
An expert by your side
A single point of contact who secures, checks and documents things with you.
- Securing your accounts & devices
- A usable report for the bank, the insurer, a police report
- Clear commitments, never false promises
Is your situation still unclear? Start with the free diagnosis.
In a few minutes, it assesses the incident, identifies the exposed accounts and ranks the evidence, then you decide whether you want our help. No card required.
